At Techniglove International, we are dedicated to developing
products and processes that will keep us at the forefront of cleanroom
compatible glove technology. Always the innovator in
products and packaging, Techniglove has found a way to redefine testing
for particles and extractables.
With today’s technology, generic testing information on nitrile gloves simply isn’t good enough. So we designed a system that allows customers to get specific test results on the product that they have on their shelves.
Introducing the first and only Factory Batch Testing Method and Certification. We spent the time and money to design a state of the art testing center on site at our manufacturing facility. This gives us the ability to test and approve all of our gloves prior to shipment. The process is simple. This is how it works:
Gloves go through our system in batches. A batch, measured by weight, is 8 cases (or 8,000 gloves). As each batch reaches the packing stage, we randomly select 4 gloves for testing in our lab. Complete test procedures for particles and extractables are performed to ensure that each batch of gloves meets Techniglove’s published specifications. These standards are set as the margins for “pass” or “fail”. If a batch meets specifications, it passes and will be sent for packing. If it fails it will be sent back for reprocessing.
Batch testing is a simple system designed to ensure that you, the customer, always have the best quality product possible in and on your hands.
This method is innovative for several reasons: Pass Fail Testing is Completed at the Manufacturing LocationMost manufacturers have testing performed by a lab only AFTER it has reached their warehouse. Techniglove products are tested for pass/fail in a cleanroom lab that has been built into our production process. This method guarantees that product out of our published specification will never reach our customers.
A Techniglove Batch is Only 8 casesThese 8,000 gloves complete the production process from processing to testing as a unit. If there were ever to be a problem found, it would be confined to 8 cases.
We Use the Latest Technology for TestingWe use filtered DI water and a PMS particle counter with software specially designed to analyze the gloves. Each of the 4 randomly selected gloves are also tested for 13 different anions and cations.
